Humanity has ignored this TRUTH in favor of fragmentation that separates our religions, our political structures, our economic systems and our educational institutions. Man’s approach to life has been founded on the idea that we are separate from one another. This has spawned a philosophy of destructive competition that leaves little or no room for cooperation and understanding between people and between nations.

Throughout the centuries the very nature of this competition has been the cause of suffering from wars; it has been the cause of suffering among people from injuries of various magnitudes inflicted on one another. The advancement of science during the passing of the centuries has greatly alleviated the hardships of most people, but has done little to encourage cooperation and understanding among people.

Our sophisticated nuclear age has given us the wherewithal to annihilate the Planet Earth and in so doing, annihilate the human race. So, we are on the frontier of making a decision about our future. Be assured Spirit will not permit the destruction of this planet, but will not stop the destruction of man, either by his own hand, or by the powers of Nature.

This is the time of teaching. What you teach your family and friends through your every word and action will remain as indelible lessons in their hearts and minds. Teach your family to turn inward and ask a simple, yet imminent, question: What would love do for you? If we could love those who have hurt us, seek to understand why they have done so, what would our response be?

It is time to bring cooperation and understanding to the forefront, and it is time to expunge the philosophy of destructive competition from our lives. Rather than to attempt to destroy the planet, or ourselves, let us accept the challenge that faces us: To bring about change by tearing down the fragmentation that separates humanity and rebuild on a foundation of Spirit, Light and Love.

We must begin with ourselves: We must listen to our hearts, for there we will find wisdom and truth and the strength to share with others, through word and example, the power of Love and Light. We must also talk to Spirit and continue to send Light to the Earth and to the children who have chosen to live on this wonderful Planet Earth.

This is a challenge on which we cannot – and must not – turn our backs.
